Not Amazon's fault. I liked the red color very much but the toaster leaves a lot to be desired in making toast. Like so many items made in China, it lacks the quality of American goods of several years ago. I have gone through 6 toasters in the past 5 years and have yet to find one that really works. Finally, I bought a Waring toaster oven and even though it takes twice as long to make toast, it does a far better job.
