I am pleased with this toaster. I had been looking for a new toaster that had the old-fashioned chrome look with rounded edges. It looks great in my 50s kitchen, and I love the that it is heavy and sturdy like the good old toasters. It is slightly larger than the old vintage toasters. And oh, yes, it toasts perfectly with wide slots with features like defrost, reheat and cancel. I like the defrost feature because it thaws the bread and then toasts it. The pop-up is very powerful. It will eject a single piece of toast right out the top and the first time I used it, it popped up and out and on the floor. So when I do a single slice of light bread I place it in the back slot. This is a commercial toaster so I would expect it to be more powerful than a domestic toaster.
